Look in Your Mailbox!
The 2010 LCA Annual Meeting notice and proxies were mailed to Las Colinas property owners on Aug. 9, 2010. The Annual Meeting will be held at 4 p.m. on Oct. 4 at the Omni Mandalay Hotel at Las Colinas. Three board positions will be considered, and participation by all of our members in the annual meeting process is important.
We encourage you to submit your executed proxy as soon as possible. If you have not received your notice and proxy due to a change in address, please email us at changemyinfo@lascolinas.org or call us at 972-541-2345. We hope to see you on Oct. 4!

Thinking of changing your phone service?
Please remember that any change in your phone service provider can potentially disrupt your alarm systems' connection with your monitoring service!
Las Colinas Security wants to make sure that everyone knows that VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) is not a viable means in which to transmit alarm signals and that the Association does offer alternative methods of monitoring signal transmissions other than through a normal "land-line" telephone service.
You can read about these methods in our Technical Specifications on this website or call us with questions. If you have changed your phone service provider in the last several months, please test your alarm system. If you are planning to change, please inform your service provider to check our Technical Specifications on this website, or by calling Las Colinas Security at 972-541-2345. After-Hours Curfew for Minors
Within the City of Irving, there is a curfew ordinance that applies to minors out in public areas. The curfew times are: Monday through Friday 12:01 am until 6:00 am and Saturday or Sunday from 1:00 am until 6:00 am. There are obviously exceptions to this curfew, such as emergencies or authorized supervised activities.
Las Colinas Patrol will report any activity within the curfew times to the Police, who will determine if there is a curfew violation. We ask that you also call the Irving Police Department or Las Colinas Patrol should you see any after-hours activity.

Director and Officer Bios

William F. Tichy has been a member of the Las Colinas Association Board of Directors since 2005 and currently serves as its chairman.

A past executive of Verizon (formerly GTE), he was the assistant treasurer for its Insurance and Pensions division, and president of GTE Reinsurance. Managing all aspects of the organization's insurance programs and employee benefits, Mr. Tichy was involved in establishing corporate objectives and policy. Prior to that, he was the director of materials management at GTE. Mr. Tichy received his bachelor's degree from DePaul University and an MBA from the University of Chicago.

Past president of the Fox Glen Home Owners Association, he and his wife, Nadine, have resided in Las Colinas since 1998.
